By the initiative of the Northern Flowers and the Boris Tchaikovsky Society (www.mmv.ru/p/bt), several works of Boris Alexandrovich Tchaikovsky (1925-1996) will be performed in De Rode Pomp concert hall (www.rodepomp.be, Ghent, Belgium) in March 2004 within the framework of the Russian music festival. The name and heritage of this remarkable composer of Moscow attract evergrowing interest of music lovers and performers in several countries. His harmonious compositions appear to be in demand in our days, as we have received many delighted responses to the CD released by the Northern Flowers last autumn and comprising orchestra opuses of Boris Tchaikovsky (NF/PMA 9918).
The works of Boris Alexandrovich will be interpreted in Ghent by an international ‘team’ of performers as follows:
